I was looking at a timetable and couldn't tell if the 1 o'clock departure was   
   afternoon or late at night.  Finally, off to the side, I found a notation that   
   it was afternoon and evening service, so it was a 1 am departure.   
      
   In the old days, a standard convention in timetables was that a.m. times were   
   in light face, while p.m. train times were in bold face.   
      
   Metra still does this, but other carriers don't.
