   The out of use LIRR ROW I alluded to is the northern end of the ROW that   
   the A train uses to get to Far Rockaway. The closest station to JFK is   
   Howard Beach. It is a 4 track ROW. They should have used two of those   
   tracks to bring a direct service from Penn Station to JFK by building a   
   branch off of that ROW taking off around Aqueduct and running across the   
   parking lot and essentially then following the current Airtrain elevated   
   ROW. It could still be done if there is a will.
