   The Howard Beach station is a lot closer (i.e., adjacent) to airport   
   property (though still a ways from the terminals), and it's where one   
   of the Airtrain branches connects to the subway now.  Far Rockaway is   
   26 minutes further from Manhattan than Howard Beach, and has a body of   
   water separating it from the airport.
