Air rail integration using Newark Penn       >Station as the hub, even with PATH to EWR is more or less a non-starter       >IMHO. But mind you.... just IMHO.              Why do you say that?              I certainly wouldn't want to hold up London as an example to follow; at       least as far as Heathrow goes, it's a complete mess. Gatwick is better,       Stanstead can be reasonable depending on what part of London you're coming       from, but is a pain from many areas. Luton still needs a bus trip even       after the new Luton Airport Parkway station was built. London City has       improved considerably since the Docklands Light Railway was extended there.       Southend is now classed as a London airport, but it's a long way from       central London.              > Regarding just the EWR station, do you feel the monorail was a good idea,       > or would some other transport mode been as cost effective and given as       > good a service?              Ideally, the EWR station should have been built in the area around the       Marriott hotel on a shoefly and connected to the three terminal using       travelators. Monorail was a bad idea. PATH should have been built to the       terminal from the getgo.              > Any thoughts on the service between LIRR-Jamaica and JFK airport?
