|    Switchback movie    |

From: ahk@chinet.com              I suppose everyone has seen it, but I caught Switchback in rotation on a       movie channel the other day and managed to record it. The plot's a pretty       standard police procedural, chasing a serial killer, with no shortage of       cliches of incredibly stupid FBI bosses who would rather leave a killer on       the loose than admit that they botched an investigation and let down one of       their own by not pursuing his kidnapped child. As there's supposed to be a       mystery as to the identity of the killer, the plot's ruins that suspense       as well.              But it has some entertaining stuntwork in the last third of the movie and       amazing amounts of D&RGW train movements on an incredibly snowy day through       a switchback in a difficult Colorado mountain pass. Try not to get annoyed       that the lighted locomotive number is used as the train symbol and that       freight trains run on predictible daily schedules despite heavy snowfall.              --- SoupGate/W32 v1.03        * Origin: LiveWire BBS -=*=- UseNet FTN Gateway (1:2320/1)    |
