Unless you're moving huge files or doing graphics intensive browser
pages dial-up is livable. And while you're on-line no telemarketers
   can call you.

They claim from Lorton to Sanford - 17 hours (810 miles) not much more
than driving time --- once you get to the start point.

I did 20 years herding tractor-trailer rigs and my mindset is still on
fastest or most direct routing. Bv)= I stopped to see the Grand Canyon
once. Big hole in the ground.

SH> BTW are you guys on fidonet from the internet or a BBS? curious

I mostly do telnet to a BBS. The only browser BBS I've found that works
well is http://bbs.fidosysop.org/default.htm even if the SysOp is a
   wing-nut.
