   Can't rule out anything at this point, but North Philadelphia is a lousy   
   neighborhood.   
      
   Indeed, back in 1974 when SEPTA took delivery of the SL4's, they made a big   
   deal that the windows were made of Lexan and rockproof.  Rocks thrown at   
   trains was a long-time major problem, passengers were even killed by it.   
      
   Another new train's window was broken (an SL5).  I don't know the specs of a   
   head-end glazing, but I believe it is quite tough, and to get broken, just   
   might mean a gunshot.
