   SEPTA does not have LRVs to spare for Rt 15, they all are needed on   
   the subway surface.  There are no other city streetcar routes.   
      
   By the way, the LRVs are approaching 35 years of age.  Buses don't   
   last that long.   
      
   While SEPTA Rt 15 serves the zoo, it is most definitely not a tourist   
   route.  The bulk of it serves old residential and industrial   
   neighborhoods, most of which are in lousy areas.   
      
   SEPTA did previously create two short tourist trolley lines, both   
   on parts of Rt 23, using conventional PCC cars.  However, neither   
   lasted very long and both are long gone.
