   The San Francisco F line that runs along Market St and up the   
   Embarcadero to Fisherman's Wharf uses a grabbag of antique streetcars   
   including many PCCs, of which 16 came from Philadelphia.  I can't   
   begin to imagine what they have to do to keep them all running.  They   
   seem reasonable reliable.   
      
   They also have a network of modern cars that run underground on Market   
   St (one level up from BART) and on the street elsewhere.
