   The guys blames our national deficit and problems with China on Amtrak.   
      
   He says riders could easily be carried by bus, and quotes the Cato Institute   
   (a highway/airway lobbyist).   
      
   He ignores the record of the private records that ran trains before Amtrak,   
   and the many improvements Amtrak has made.   
      
   He ignores that private railroads have repeatedly asked for extensions to   
   install PTC, yet claims a private Amtrak would've completed it.
