      From: nilknocgeo@earthlink.net              Amtrak has posted that it keeps diesels in the NE in case the electrity were       to go off during this winter's storm.              That got me wondering: did RRs in the past prepare better for snow than       today? I remember the large rotary plows. Are they still in use?
