From: ooga@booga.com              XPost: alt.california, sac.politics, soc.culture.african.american       XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh              OAKLAND (CBS SF) — BART trains are running through the Transbay       Tube again Friday afternoon after a group of activists       protesting the Ferguson grand jury decision were arrested for       halting BART service at the West Oakland station.              BART police arrested 14 protesters who chained themselves to       trains on both sides of the West Oakland station shortly after       10:30 a.m., preventing any trains from traveling through the       station for more than hour.              Shortly before 1 p.m., BART reopened the West Oakland station.              During the disruption, AC Transit honored BART tickets for       passengers at the Transbay terminal, which offers O and NL buses       to shuttle passengers between San Francisco and West Oakland. A       BART bus bridge had also been set up from Oakland to San       Francisco.              KCBS reports the activists, who were wearing “Black Lives       Matter” T-shirts, intended to keep the West Oakland station shut       down for at least four hours to symbolize the 4.5 hours Michael       Brown’s body had reportedly been left in the street after he was       shot by Ferguson officer Darren Wilson.              Numerous posts on Twitter linked the protest to #BlackoutBlack       Friday, a nationwide campaign meant to bring attention to the       August fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown and a grand       jury’s decision earlier this week not to indict the police       officer who killed him.              http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2014/11/28/blackoutblackfriday-       activists-shut-down-west-oakland-bart-station-major-delays-       michael-brown-ferguson-transbay-tube/              Comments:              Ed Word Galán • 30 minutes ago       just read a lovely tweet              "Violence is not the solution" says the same people who tell       everyone SUPPORT THE TROOPS              "Violence is not the solution" say a people who's country was       established via revolution       1 • Reply•Share ›              Avatar       PerfectSusanoo Ed Word Galán • 20 minutes ago       Man, the Internet is just bending itself into pretzels to       justify the "noble" actions of the Ferguson rioters, isn't it?       1 • Reply•Share ›              Avatar       Ed Word Galán PerfectSusanoo • 11 minutes ago       and to justify that murder of an unarmed black teen.              I am willing to say that i don't support violence, looting,       rioting etc are you willing to at least say that killing a teen       is wrong and that justice was not served? I'm not trying to       justify violence, i'm simply pointing out hypocrisy       1 • Reply•Share ›              Avatar       Milo • 40 minutes ago       An Oakland Black thug shot blindly through a door and killed an       8 year old Black girl... Just the       opposite. If anything they reinforce the stereotype of blacks       out of control.       Fact is black lives matter little when your late for work or you       missed that job interview or airline flight that you saved up       for.       7 • Reply•Share ›              Avatar       Senor Bato Senor Bato • an hour ago       Causing problems for innocent people who have nothing to do with       their problem real or imagined is wrong, stupid and       irresponsible.       4 • Reply•Share ›              Avatar       Ed Word Galán • 2 hours ago       Michael Brown was a human being not a thug or an animal. Some of       you have had squeaky clean past and probably can't relate. Some       people know what it's like to be young, reckless, defiant, and       prone to making lots of mistakes.       Whether Michael Brown stole cigarettes, a car, or a plane       doesn't matter. He shouldn't be DEAD today.       White male supremacy culture has pushed black people to be in       the state they're in today. Many white people wanna tell black       people and black leaders to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY and yet these       same people refuse to take responsibility for slavery (where's       reperations?)       what happened to all those treaties that our gov't signed with       native americans?       Where are the people taking responsibility for unjust drug laws       that send a disproportionate amount of black men to jail (which       destroys families).       Where are the people taking responsibility for the ecological       genocide that's happening right now That's DESTROYING THE F*#@       planet.       AND YOU'RE MAD ABOUT A TRAIN RUNNING LATE????????       lack of responsibility isn't a black problem, it's an american       problem. I'm not here to say black people are saints and whites       are devils. We're all doing the best we can.       These protesters are trying to get people to WAKE UP. i'm glad       people are getting fired up on both sides cuz that means you're       alive.       4 • Reply•Share ›              Avatar       Nick Smith Ed Word Galán • 42 minutes ago       My great grandfather was killed fighting to free the slaves, so       you can shove your reparations BS up your ass.
