   I would be very surprised if they never go back to the smaller planes in   
   a big way again. The problem is airport capacity and slot availability.   
   The visible trend this year at least in places like O'Hare appear to be   
   a move towards slightly larger planes with more structured re-banking of   
   flights. Both American and united are doing this
