The major bottleneck one is Portal between Newark and Secaucus. That is
the one that is slated to replaced by a fixed high level bridge with 50'
   clearance.

Dock at Newark Station will not be replaced.

Brandywine in Delaware is welded shut I think.

Susquehanna is eventually going to be replaced. At present the rails are
straight welded to remove speed limit imposed by Miter Rail. When it
needs to be opened, which is not too often the rails are cut to open it
   and then restored after opening.

Bush River, same as above. Last year there was a major outage after
something in the process of closing the bridge caused a major power
outage shutting down the NEC for hours.

Gunpowder River same as above, though it is hardly ever opened these days.

There may be a few other minor ones that are most likely welded shut.
