   Many SIRT stations are within residential neighborhoods with single houses   
   where there is plenty of on-street parking and presumably very safe, too.

   One problem I have is that my Hagstrom maps are old, and many key highways in   
   NYC have been renamed.  Last year I was looking for Pennsylvania Ave in Queens   
   (to get to the Interboro Pky) and almost missed it because it was renamed.    
   (That turned out to    
   be an unpleasant four hour trip, construction work on the State Island expy,   
   and slow traffic in Queens; plus no parking at the museum.)
