   One of the books on Pennsylvania Station, written by architects, has a full   
   chapter devoted to the proposed post office station.  They think it's the   
   greatest thing since sliced bread.  Supposedly there will be a big glass wall   
   in the middle of it.  I    
   don't get that at all because it's very modernistic in a old style building,   
   plus it looks like the screen from a drive-in movie.   
      
   Penna Sta has a lot of retail space on the street level, Amtrak level, and NJT   
   level.  While it generates needed revenues and provides services, IMHO, some   
   of it could be sacrificed just to create more floor space.
