Progress is continuing to rename 30th Street Station for the late Rep. William   
   Gray, a popular Philadelphia congressman and supporter of Amtrak.   
      
   While I think Gray should be honored, just like Lautenberg was, renaming a   
   station doesn't really serve anyone.   
      
   If the full name is used, it's a tongue twister anc confusing to passengers.    
   But in practice, only the short name will be used, so the actual honoree will   
   be forgotten.
