TID: Mystic BBS 1.12 A49       MSGID: 1:342/201 703bc748       REPLY: 1:342/201 314c8b8e       TZUTC: -0800        IJ> AT> Why though? Normal people can right through all of the BS. Or by norm        IJ> AT> people do you mean judges?        IJ> AT>         IJ>         IJ> No I meant voters. Think about what just happened in Virginia. They had        IJ> Glenn Youngkin who saved the state from the Woke Democrats... Recall the        IJ> transgender guy who rapped girls and we just passed around to different        IJ> schools, the father of one of the girls was arrested because he spoke        IJ> his views at the school board meeting.              Yea, they should be waking up right about now. But unfortunately for them they       have 2 monsters to deal with now: a Communist in the governor's mansion, and       sleazy RINO pieces of trash in their state's GOP (like Winsome Earle-Sears.)       Looking at back at how it unfolded, I don't think things would be much       different if Earle-Sears had won.               IJ> Who caused the inflation and hi costs?? The Democrats??? Well,        IJ> apparently they are going to fix the problem they caused.              There's a game that we're all familiar with.               IJ> Large employer tax        IJ> Gun and ammunition tax        IJ> New income tax brackets        IJ> Delivery tax, which would hit Amazon, Uber Eats, FedEx, and UPS orders              Oh yea, I'm sure George has a huge to-do list for her.               IJ> I argue that if some of the "Normal Democrats" wakeup to what their party        IJ> actually stands for and move to the right NY might get rid of Hochul and        IJ> others like her.              I don't know what goes through their minds, but I know from experience that       the NY leftists are brainwashed by the media and education systems. I fell       into the trap, and I was one of them. They mold us (NYers) into something that       we're not, and it seems like only a handful of us ever break out of it.               IJ> BTW, less than a month and the left is protesting Mamdani's official        IJ> residence.              I don't know anyone from that part of the state personally, but I still doubt       that it's as bad as the media says. You probably know more NYC people than I       do (I'm assuming this because they flock to FL.) What are they saying about it?               IJ> And this is what we should do. We have to celebrate or victories and        IJ> stay focused on the end goal.              Good point. I love the victories. They have been plentiful. It's only natural       to feel addicted though, and to want more and more! :)               IJ> BTW, I thought I was talking to Aaron and I see its a new face.              Ahfe is a really good guy who I've met in person. I met him in person a long       time ago. We're from the same county. He was a user on my BBS in the early 90s       but with a different handle. I'm not at all surprised to find out that he's       part of our tribe.              --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 2023/04/30 (Windows/64)        * Origin: JoesBBS.Com, Telnet:23 SSH:22 HTTP:80 (1:342/201)       SEEN-BY: 105/81 106/201 128/187 129/14 305 153/7715 154/110 218/700       SEEN-BY: 226/30 227/114 229/110 112 134 206 300 307 317 400 426 428       SEEN-BY: 229/470 700 705 266/512 291/111 292/854 320/219 322/757 342/200       SEEN-BY: 342/201 396/45 460/58 633/280 712/848 902/26 5075/35       PATH: 342/201 200 229/426           |
