On 20 Jan 2026, Aaron Thomas said the following...

AT> I was able to tell that it was bad for Pierre, but obviously Trump don't
AT> really care about Canada and I don't blame him. Canada is Cher's and
    AT> Susan Sarandon's problem. ;)
    AT>

I thought, and still do, that Pierre was a good choice as PM for Canada. He
was talking normal. He wanted to build refineries capable of processing
Alberta's Oil. The list goes on and on and on... and we got this current
   Liberal government instead.

Pierre lost his seat in the Ottawa area... So someone gave up their seat for
him to have in Alberta. So he moved out west to Alberta and his riding is
just south of Edmonton that is in the most conservative ares in Canada.

I stopped worrying about things lately. At the end of the day Canada might
have needed a few more years of failed Liberal policies before they are Red
   Pilled.

Pierre is smart and has great come backs and he's entertaining to watch and
there will be an election soon, in a year or so, and we can finally get rid of
these socialist that are running the show here.

    AT>
AT> I don't fully understand the reason for 2 conservative parties, but I'm
AT> 100% sure that it has something to do with money.
    AT>

I'd don't know if it was money. Alberta is the put the welfare office in the
unemployment office... You need money get a 2nd or 3rd job or get a trade or
work in a camp... working 2-3 weeks in the came with a week or two off. 12
hour days... That's Alberta... Libertarian type. In the east... a different
bread of Conservative... Suite and tie and more academic... They didn't mix
well. In the US the parties tolerate the diversity within the party... AOC
likes/works with Chuck Schumer and so on. In Canada they split that diversity
up. You have mainstream (not so anymore) Liberals and left wing fanatics like
AOC called the NDPs. The Conservative party had the same... Until it cost
Alberta an election, the NDP party got in for a cycle.

After that they formed back to one party.

We need politicians to represent us, the people, and not their own interests.

Recently Canada lost a Liberal to Ukraine... Freeland, the old Finance
Minister just quit and went to Ukraine as an advisor to Z. Ukraine receives
BILLIONS and BILLIONS from the west and now she's there helping Z launder the
   money I guess.

Everyone filling their pockets. No one helping their constituents.

    AT>
AT> Smart. I admire red states.
    AT>

   I like them too.
