   The 1994 Budapest Memorandum essentially stipulates a few things.   
      
   In exchange for the nuclear weapons located in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus,   
   and Ukraine would receive guarantees.   
      
   Russia, the US, and the UK, and later endorsed by China and France, made   
   security commitments.   
      
   1. Respect for the sovereignty of Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Ukraine.   
      
   2. No military force or the threat thereof.   
      
   3. No economic coercion.   
      
   4. In the event of a threat of nuclear weapons, the signatories will take   
   action through the UN.   
      
   5. No use of nuclear weapons.   
      
   6. Consultation in disputes.   
      
   It is clear that Russia violated Parts 1 and 2 long ago, because it began to   
   act politically in Ukraine. After 2012, this became a Russian-sponsored armed   
   uprising by Russian soldiers posing as Ukrainian citizens. In 2014, this   
   turned into an open uprising in Kyiv and eastern Ukraine. Russia also occupied   
   all of Crimea and seized the Ukrainian navy. In 2022, it became a full-blown   
   invasion on multiple fronts simultaneously.   
      
   So Russia didn't comply.   
      
   But then we look at the US.   
      
   Trump indicated that Zelensky simply had to make a minerals deal with the US,   
   or there would be no American aid. That is therefore a clear violation of   
   condition three. This makes the US just as villainous as Russia, only they   
   haven't yet used weapons against Ukraine.   
      
   What is crystal clear is that all the treaties with Russia, China, and the US   
   are simply bullshit. Survival of the fittest prevails.   
      
   In my opinion, this means that countries like Canada, Australia, South Korea,   
   but also Poland and Ukraine, should arm themselves with nuclear weapons. North   
   Korea teaches us that this is truly the only way to keep the big three at bay.   
   Everything these three say and do is self-interest. They don't do anything for   
   you. They just want to profit. The only way to create a more level playing   
   field is to know that ANYONE can destroy the other at ANY time. That humbles   
   them, until some idiot finally checks if it's a bluff and unleashes Armageddon.
