You keep on assuming things because you BELIEVE what you're told. Outside the
"west" (US/Canada), from SOUTH America (also named "america"...), things look
   terribly different.

On 09 Jan 2026, IB Joe said the following...
IJ> So, in comes Trump... Over 100K people die from Fentanyl and drug
IJ> overdoses. He did what George W did... Declared the Drug Cartels Narco
IJ> Terrorist and went to work for the people.
The Government of Venezuela *is not* a durg cartel.

IJ> Blowing up drug boats and stopping a Narco terrorist group
I say again: the *Government of Venezuela* *IS NOOOT...* a narco terrorist
group. Why would the US go into Venezuelan sovereign waters and blow up a
boat that's supposedly carrying drugs? Why don't they let the Venezuelan
state handle taht? Why don't they wait for the venezuelan drug boats 200miles
into their own sovereign waters and blow them up there? Don't you ask
   yourself these things?
IJ> from profiting off their oil reserves.
About profiting from oil reserves, it's the State of Venezuela that's
profiting off oil reserves, not a drug cartel. And that's what's supposed to
happen with natural resources and sovereign states. Why *the hell* would the
US steal away tanker ships carrying the profit that should go to the state of
the country that exported those resources??
     IJ>
IJ> Trump said that China and Russia are in Venezuela... There was a video of
IJ> someone from there confirming this.
I don't understand, what's wrong about three countries doing business
together? As long as those business are lawful and beneficial to each of the
parties involved, why should the US bother? Does the whole world *have to*
ask Washington who to do deals with?
     IJ>

IJ> There is an old Doctrine called the Monroe Doctrine, look it up,
I know the Monroe Doctrine, I read about it long before Trump was president.
It said something along the lines of "America for the Americans", and it
proposed that whenever a sovereign state within the subcontinent was attacked
by an out-of-continent force, the US would intervene and *always* side with
the neighbour under attack. Well guess what: I know first hand how much of an
ass-wipe the US has made of that same doctrine, when it is an old friend that
attacks the neighbour. I happen to be from Argentina, that was declared war
upon by England in 1982 and attacked argentine armed forces fighting to
regain control of a territory that was stolen from us 150 years earlier. Who
did the US side with back then? If you can't guess it, I'll spell it for you:
   England.
IJ> Trump has adopted this Doctrine and it has since been renamed to
     IJ> the Donroe Doctrine.
It "hasn't been" renamed... it was Trump himself that did that, and
apperantly because he's a huge ego-maniac, going through a phase of slapping
his own name on anything he can close enough... Come on, Joe, you're a smart
guy, but I'm smart too, we both know it wasn't that "is has been renamed"...
have some care with how things are expressed...
     IJ>
IJ> Trump has has said that he doesn't want any of the US adversaries in the
IJ> West. Kind of makes sense. Russia can influence Europe, China can
     IJ> influence Asia...
These are things *any* president can *SAY*, but to go as far as to cross
other countries borders and do shit there... what gives you the right?!?!

     IJ>
IJ> I'm a wait and see guy... makes sense.
     IJ>
IJ> Today Venezuela has a chance to be free. TODAY the current leaders of
IJ> Venezuela release all the Political Prisoners (In the News Today).
Venezuela is not "more free" because of US invasion and political
intervention. What about having Maduro be their president? Are they free to
have that? What if Venezuela goes through an election, and have Maduro in the
ballots, and say... hey... Maduro fucking won by a lot the election, can they
have the guy be president? Who *the fuck* is the US!!!! as a country!!!!! to
tell another country who they can have or have not as president??? Even Trump
going as far as telling Machado that if she'd given him the Nobel Prize, the
US would have had her assume as president, can you grasp how mad and bogus
all of this is?? Do you think latin american countries have no history? no
law? no institutions? no states? no way to conduct themselves?? It's injury
over the insult, and every minute it keeps building up.
IJ> Venezuelan Dad will see his day in court and things might work out for
     IJ> those people.
     IJ>

IJ> As an aside... Cuba is on the brink of collapse because of Trump.
IJ> During the Venezuelan Dad's arrest there were 40 people who died...
The didn't "die", they were *shot dead* by the invading troops that had no
right to be there in the first place, *because!!* those cubans and venezuelan
security officers stood in the way between the invaders and Maduro and his
wife. They fought and have *their lives* to defend the Constitution of
   Venezuela.

IJ> 34 were Cuban. Apparently V.D. gave Cuba, I heard, 100K barrels of oil
IJ> each month in exchange for security and intel.
Again, why *the hell* is the US have to have anything to say with the
business two sovereign countries do between each other?
     IJ>
IJ> Daddy Trump is blocking those oil shipments and as a result the Cuban
IJ> government is in crisis and will probably fall sometime this year. This
IJ> is good news for the Cubans...
     IJ>
How can the US messing around with your sovereign commercial decisions be good
for the people of your country? Why does the US have to intervene with another
countries commercial sovereign decisions to do any good for the people of that
country? Why can't the US offer a *better* deal than the ones they're doing
with other countries the US doesn't like?

   Pol Malvinas.

   Islas Malvinas, siempre Argentinas!

   ... Islas Malvinas, siempre Argentinas.
