   It's ridiculous how people like the media (and the schools here too) are   
   treating the SNAP disruption as a "food emergency."   
      
   The school sent an email to all the parents with a list of food pantries in   
   the area in response to the SNAP disruption, but they didn't send a letter   
   like that when the military began to miss their paychecks.   
      
   They should have said "Dear parents: as a result of the federal workers not   
   being paid, here's a list of food pantries..." Nope. They didn't give a flying   
   one about those families.
