   Trump has promised $20 billion to Milei, the president of Argentina.   
      
   A very strange move, because Argentina is now one of the problems for the US.   
      
   The country has made deals with China and now mainly sells its agricultural   
   products to China, while China no longer buys those products from the US.   
      
   So Trump is supporting a competitor at the expense of his own farmers!   
      
   That's not America First!   
      
   Why?   
      
   Perhaps because Milei is the perfect example for Trump. Milei did what Trump   
   wanted to do. Milei turned the entire Argentine government upside down. He   
   fired a huge number of civil servants and created a fantastic playing field   
   for the wealthy and large corporations. After all, firing civil servants has   
   also disrupted tax collection. Large corporations pay virtually no taxes there   
   anymore. That is part of the problems Milei is now facing.   
      
   Moreover, Milei is also starting to lose his followers.   
      
   Milei's mistake is that he became the enemy of the government. A government   
   you need to raise taxes. A government you need to keep people and businesses   
   in line. A government that can regulate certain services properly and   
   effectively because it's not trying to drive profit. People in Argentina now   
   realize that in some respects he's gone way too far.   
      
   But Trump, who misses his buddy Epstein dearly, sees Milei as a new friend.   
   Someone who did from the heart what Trump did only out of hatred. Trump will   
   save his new buddy, whatever the cost to US farmers. There's not much logic in   
   that. Trump has few friends. If he has one, he's fiercely loyal to that friend.
