(Axios)        Ub>         Ub> 750,000 not being paid, including military. I shutter to think of how        Ub> things would turn out should they come to DC for their back pay. I have        Ub> a feeling it would make January 6th look like a elementary school's tour        Ub> of the capital.        Ub>               This is a Canadian perspective on this... When I was a pup I recall the wage       for a Government worker was lower than the public sector. It was argued that       the lower pay, and benefits, was more secure then that of the private sector.              Fast forward to todays time and the Government workers make more than the       private sector, way more, and they think they are in a protected class...              Now a US perspective... The Government passes Obamacare and in doing so       exempts themselves from having to use that program.              Government employees stayed home, some didn't even work for their pay checks       ... Teachers went to resorts, still got paid... and bla bla bla.              I think they should run the Government like a business and always look at the       way things are done... Is there a way to be more efficient and or a better way       to do it to save the tax payers money.              DOGE, showed a good reason why there was soooooooooo much Social Security       fraud. Most of the applications where paper filed and there was no computers       checking and rechecking applications.              They started to move the documents do digital format in hopes to solve the       problem.              Government needs to be a lean mean serving machine. I would argue even       further that it needs to be decentralized out of DC and put the jobs in       American's hands.              I could say more... But I'll leave it at this.              IB Joe, Pronouns (FJB/LGB)        AKA Joe Schweier       SysOp of 4A 6F 65 73 42 42 53        -=JoesBBS.com=-              ...
