   Then they won't be able to (I think) put senators & reps on the same ballot as   
   local officials. That could be a great thing because people should then   
   realize that "one of my ballots is part of a secure election and the other one   
   is not."

   That's exactly what's happening here. This rino mayor is a complete   
   jack-off-a-saurus and his chances of re-election are in the toilet no matter   
   what. He's a young guy, so probably later down the road we'll either see him   
   running as a Democrat is some other local election, or running as a Republican   
   just to guarantee a win for the Democrats again.   
      
   The scenario is similar to NYC's mayoral race, how they keep using Curtis   
   Sliwa to guarantee the Democrat win.
