   In a moment of great insight, pro-Russian blogger Maksim Kalanshnikov has   
   pointed out that the Russian invasion, aimed at the reunification of Russia   
   and Ukraine, has failed. The people they came to "liberate" are deeply unhappy   
   with it, and the wealthy regions they occupied are now plundered, destroyed,   
   and destitute. According to him, it's a losing battle for Russia. I fear for   
   Maksim that he shouldn't go near high windows.
