    I lived/worked in South Korea for 14 years!   
      
   I had to deal with immigration to renew my visa stamp every year.  Not the   
   most fun.   
      
   While South Korea has always had one of the higest (Now the highest) suicide   
   rate in the world, due to rampant toxic feminism and the #metoo movement, they   
   now have the honor of having the lowest birth rate in the world.   
      
   The place has turned into a leftist toxic shithole, where friends and family   
   will turn on each other if it increases their social standing or they can get   
   money out of it.   
      
   I will not go into details, but I was put through the wringer by someone I   
   thought was my friend, but was just waiting to cause me problems.  Even though   
   the legal side of that dealt with, immigration was waiting in the wings to   
   toss me out, to presearve their good social order.     
      
   Fortunately due to my VISA I was not immediately thrown into the hell of their   
   immigration jails while they worked out how to get me on a plane.   
      
   So yes, I scoff at them reaping what they sow.   
      
   Don't even get me started on the fact that while a democracy, they have no   
   freedom of speach, expression, or press.   
      
   "Defamation Using Truth." is an actual crime.   
      
   Taking pictures of women at the beach can see you chemically castrated.   
      
   Not somewhere I even want to visit these days.
