So I got a book called "The American Gun, the story of       the AR-15".              Good thing I picked it up at the library instead of reading the       glowing reviews on Amazon (although there were some real reviews       rated at 1 star, most of them were glowing).              Within reading the prologue, I could tell this book was written by       people who want to ban guns. The first part follows how Eugene       Stoner came up with the weapon. The last 2/3rds are devoted to       hysterical liberals who want to ban the bad things. One of the 1       star reviews notes that "the writing is so slanted, they were       suprised it didn't slide off the table when they set it down."              If I would have went by the reviews and purchased this because I       wanted to know more about the AR-15, it would have been a waste of       money due to the liberal slant of the writers.              Have a great day!                     ...
