   There certainly is something to that.   
      
   But the Left doesn't read books (other than propaganda) and everyone else only   
   reads good books - which the Left can't write.  So to use books as propaganda   
   only works to indoctrinate the already indoctrinated.   
      
   Speaking of books, I read a lot.  Most of my books are older books now (Think   
   of stuff from Project Gutenberg).  But every so often I get a newer one in my   
   queue.  So far, the newer books are batting 0.  I delete it soon after I start   
   it.  They just aren't very good.   
      
   Life is too short to read bad books.
