   I saw that!  Such good news.

   Some of those things were made illegal.  In some cases, "independent" groups   
   were set up to make sure things were on the level.   
      
   But we are dealing with people who can't win by playing by the rules.  So they   
   will **always** bend (or break, if they can get away with it) the rules for   
   their own benefit.   
      
   What we need is a new set of incentives to do the right things, and a new set   
   of disincentives to keep them from doing the wrong thing too much.   
      
   And, of course, to always stay vigilent.

   I think so too.  IHMO: the midterms will be devistating for the Dems.    
   Especially if their operatives (like Michigan's Benson) are in prison so that a
