   I felt a little stupid for being on cnn.com reading articles in the first   
   place, but then I read an article that was so stupid that it made me feel   
   better:   
      
   According to "experts" the honeycreeper is near extinction due to avian   
   malaria, which supposedly is caused by native mosquitoes. And according to   
   these same "experts," the mosquitoes are moving to higher elevations due to   
   "climate change" and that's why they're reaching the honeycreeper birds.   
      
   So these "experts" are implementing a "solution:" by importing millions of   
   foreign mosquitoes in the region, because supposedly when they mate with the   
   native mosquitoes they're unable to reproduce.   
      
   I'm not a bird or mosquito expert, but I'm an expert at "I don't want any more   
   damn mosquitoes imported into my neighborhood."
