   Ahhh..  the usual "look like we are doing something" scam.  They've tried that   
   one before.

   They make amplified phones for old people.  My mom has one.  It's the only way   
   she can talk on the phone.   
      
   But she long ago got into a habit of saying "I can't understand you." and   
   hanging up.

    AT> USPS scams; it's more effective because old people tend to not use   
    AT> email notifications, and they have a regimen of going out and getting

   Possible.  But mail scams are harder because the person has time to think and   
   review.   
      
   And probably already gets lots of junk mail, so the scam ends up in the bin   
   with the rest of the junk mail.   
      
      
   ... I may be wrong, but I'm never in doubt!
