AA> Yes... it's hard to get used to hitting tab just to get the "netmail

Yes it does and that's an item which has needed changing for many
years but to actually do what appears to be a simple task, is actually
a monumental task. I set about doing it yonks ago and gave up out of
   sheer frustration :(

    AA> You're calling it the Address-book?

Yes, that's what it is :)

AA> ..with *every* name I select. I guess I don't understand what Address-
AA> book is supposed to do.

Amongst other things, the Addressbook is a list of Contacts to whom
you've sent mail. The messages which you've sent to each Contact are
stored in the messagebase/database, that's why you can see them when
you press over a Contact. However, pressing "b" over a Contact
toggles the Contact out of the Addressbook but XP won't let you do
that if there are still messages "attached" to the Contact. You need
to delete/kill the messages first and then press "b" to toggle the
Contact out of the Addressbook. In the context of an Addressbook, that
doesn't make sense and IMO this feature was very poorly designed.

AA> And.. the above list is only by name. A complete list by Subject would
    AA> be nicer.

Yes and that's why I suggested a "Sent Netmail" folder would have been
   a far better idea.

   Martin
