   Notepad is "windows", no?  It's not like you had to edit with a    
   onsole/terminal type editor.   
      
   The good win-gui fido readers had an internal editor. SemPoint was/is one.  It   
   even allows/allowed you to configure an external editor of your choice if you   
   want.   
      
   Feetstreet was my alltime favourite.  Albiet is was OS/2 only, and sadly that   
   is no more for me.
