Grab syncterm-1.1-src.tgz from http://sourc       forge.net/projects/syncterm              Unpack that archive keeping directories intact.              Go into that directory and cd src/syncterm              run make "RELEASE=1" and if that is successful "sudo make RELEASE=1 install".              You'll need gcc and friends installed for that to work. The build-essential       meta package will do that on debian derivitives.              > Seems a bit slow to react, but that is what you get from emulation.              Syncterm runs well here on the console and desktop nicely.              > Since this is a test a responce would be nice.              Here it is!              > It will take time but I will get there.              Yes, it is a step by step process.              > an't get it to work perfectly, perhaps front door has a linux       > interface.              Not that I know of. Binkd runs nicely on linux. If your tosser can use a BSO       outbound, that is what I would use. It's not as pretty as FD but it works well.              > Truth is I am very close to gettingXP to go.              I hope you get that running well.                                   > It gets stuck a the language promt and wont take E as the language and d       > does not work either when install openxp in a wine setting.       > K       > KCheers,       > K       > K       > KAlan              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-6        * Origin: The Rusty MailBox - Penticton, BC Canada (1:153/757)       SEEN-BY: 1/19 123 15/0 16/0 19/37 90/1 105/81 106/201 120/340 123/130       SEEN-BY: 123/131 124/5016 129/305 331 134/100 153/135 757 7715 154/10       SEEN-BY: 203/0 218/700 221/0 6 227/114 229/111 112 113 206 317 400       SEEN-BY: 229/424 426 428 470 664 700 240/2100 5234 5411 5824 5832       SEEN-BY: 240/5853 5890 266/512 267/67 280/464 5003 282/1038 292/854       SEEN-BY: 292/8125 301/1 310/31 317/3 320/119 219 319 322/0 757 326/101       SEEN-BY: 341/66 234 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58 633/280 712/848       SEEN-BY: 770/1 2432/390 2452/250 2454/119 3634/12       PATH: 153/757 280/464 240/5832 320/219 229/426           |
