   in moderated newsgroups, all posts go directly to the moderators' email   
   address(es) so they can approve (or not) the message... if they approve it, a   
   specific control line is added to the message and it is then forwarded into   
   the newsgroup as an approved message... messages not approved do not appear in   
   the group at all...
