   OR, maybe I am not observing the behaviour correctly?  I haven't really     
   needed to use the highlighting other than the automatic way it highlights     
   messages addressed to me.   
      
   But I can toggle highlight on other messages and the changes seem to     
   "stick" just fine.  Not sure if the toggle is retained between sessions.
