MF> The trick is ugly, it's not elegant and it must rank as the most

    MF> Here we go .....

MF> You need to find a message from the person to whom you wish to request
MF> a file(s) from. If you can't find one, well, ummmmm, that's the end of
MF> it and there's no need to go any further. Assuming that you've found
MF> one, proceed as follows .....

MF> - Right-click anywhere on the message in the viewer and click "Request
MF> files from Message". This takes you into the request editor.

   ---------- 8< ----------
MF> - Double-clicking on any line of text will place that line of text in
MF> the "Request" window down near the bottom of the screen.

MF> - Clear the line of text in the "Request" window by right-clicking on
MF> the line of text and then click "Zeile loschen"(Delete line). You
MF> may have to do that twice to clear the line of text.
   ---------- 8< ----------

MF> - Click in the "Neuer Dateiname" field and enter the filename you wish
    MF> to request.

MF> - Click the "Hinzufugen" button and the filename should move into the
MF> window above(that's the one where the line of text was).
                       ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
                       No longer applies.

MF> - Click the "Speichern" button.

MF> - Click the "OK" button.

MF> - Close the request editor.

MF> - Now look in the outbound window and your request should be sitting
    MF> in the outbound queue.

MF> - Double-click the .req file and the "Poll Node" window should pop up.

MF> - Check all the details and if you're happy with them, click the "Ok"
MF> button, otherwise, click the "Abbruch(Abort)" button.

   Update .....

After further testing, the two steps enclosed between my two snip
markers above are not required. As a consequence, the bit about
"that's the one where the line of text was" no longer applies either.

   Regards,
