   You can trick Windows by using the USB printer as a "network" printer     
   connected to LPT1.   
      
   net use LPT1: \\[Computer-Name]\Printer /PERSISTENT:YES   
      
   I don't have any printer connected to my OXP hosted pc, otherwise I would     
   confirm.   But I used this method several years ago to revitalize a custom     
   DOS program to work with a new USB printer.
