-> I still do assume that the BIOS for your MoBo assigns COM ! and COM 2   
   -> as available options. Disable them in the BIOS!   
      
   I don't presume to know the BIOS of your motherboard. Yet you presume to   
   know mine, without seeing it.   
      
   But I do know this: not all BIOS have a COM2 enable/disable option when   
   the hardware port does not exist on the motherboard.
