-> I am running PCB on WinXP SP3. My file system is a Sata 2TB HD       -> partitioned into 4 500GB drives using NTFS.              -> When i try and make an IDX file using "makeidx files.lst files.idx",       -> i get a windows error "NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal       -> instruction."              -> Should i be using a 16bit FAT filesystem or is NTFS workable?              A quick test of makeidx worked for me. Don't know why yours failed.              I found a link to download QEMM 8.03 and Desqview 2.80. I set it up on       a spare box and tested it with my reverse telnet proxy. Works good. It       might be easier for you to bring back your old DV setup the way it was.              --- PCBoard (R) v15.4/M 250 Beta        * Origin: Torres Vedras - Portugal (2:362/6)    |
