I enjoyed Pascal after I moved on from Basic many years ago.  I look at it now   
   and wonder why I just didn't jump into C or C++.  The more I understood   
   Pascal, the more I learned about C++.  So I guess it's practically to   
   experiment the space shuttle first before flying to the moon.
