   It looks like that your environment is not setup right.

   For *.hlp files the enviroment variable named HELP should be set up like:

   SET
   HELP=H:\MPTN;H:\MPTN\HELP;H:\ecs\help;H:\OS2\HELP;H:\ecs\system\
   wps\help;H:\ECS\SYSTEM\AMouse;H:\IBMLAN\NETPROG;H:\TCPIP\HELP;H:
   MMOS2\HELP;H:\PROGRAMS\4OS2;e:\tools\os2\which;E:\UNIMAINT;

   and for onle books the environment variable BOOSHELF should contain all
   pathes to files *.inf

   SET
   BOOKSHELF=H:\IBMLAN\NETPROG;H:\OS2\BOOK;H:\ecs\book;H:\EMX\BOOK;
   :\TCPIP\HELP;H:\MMOS2;H:\PROGRAMS\4OS2

   Yes, the old IBM view.exe is replaced in eCS with newview.exe that gives
   more comfort. One of this is that it seeks not ony HELP but BOOKSHELF
   for onlene books.

   So you should check your config.sys for HELP and BOOKSHELF, check them
   for syntax errors and/or missing pathes.
