I really needed the feedback.              I am lucky enough to have a friend who had another mouse that I could try.       It was a LYNX-Mouse ione (Lynx-M9). It came with a usb/ps2 converter so I       had high hopes.              It works like a charm. I had to tweak the mouse settings to speed it up,       but its woking just fine now.              Someday, when I move to a KVM (USB/DVI) I'll consider going back and trying       the Logitech mouse again. All the ones I've connected through the PS2       converter lost wheel control. But the logitech connected to the USB       directly worked fine, including the wheel. It is my suspicion that the PS2       converter somehow breaks the wheel functionality of USB mice.              I already have DVI screens. But I'm using the VGA connectors instead       because of the KVM.              Again thanks to everyone.              regards,       Mark Vollmer                     [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]                            ------------------------------------              Yahoo!
