   I ended up going with:   
   Gigabyte P67A-UD3R-B3 and Intel Core i7-2600   
      
   I wasn't prepared to gamble on the Asus board with all the UEFI    
   references - I don't like gambling $A200 :)   
      
   Will hopefully get the board installed this afternoon and will report    
   back success or otherwise here and at ecomstation.ru
