   Unfortunately it doesn't work:
   It is like this:
   [H:\]dir ercole*
    4-09-04 6:51p 81,972 0 ---- Ercoleá-áCaco.jpg

   [H:\]dir Ercoleá-áCaco.jpg
SYS0002: The system cannot find the file specified.

   [H:\]dir "Ercoleá-áCaco.jpg"
SYS0002: The system cannot find the file specified.

   [H:\]dir "Ercole"?"-"?"Caco.jpg"
    4-09-04 6:51p 81,972 0 ---- Ercoleá-áCaco.jpg

so, the accented letters seems to cause the problem

   the strangest thing is this:
   [H:\]copy ercole* ercole_and_caco.jpg
   Ercoleá-áCaco.jpg
SYS0002: The system cannot find the file specified.

So, the system finds the file, but then something goes wrong when
   interpreting the file name.

I see that the date of the file is somewhat old. Since that time, I
migrated from eCS 1.1 to 2.0. Maybe some difference in the codepage
   could confound the OS?
