   You do not want to do this, since all DOS restrictions (starting with    
   8.3 file names) will also apply to all the programs you build.   
      
   And if you really want to develop DOS programs, Watcom is ahead by far.    
   First of all because of its VDM-Debugger.

   All of them have a nice IDE but are by far not state of the art,    
   especially the C++ language standard.   
   And of course, like all Borland C++ compilers, the compiler itself is    
   buggy and will from time to time create bogus binaries.
