   VirtualBox is free and has guest additions for OS2/eCS. You have to    
   check whether the open source edition (OSE) meets your demands (no    
   virtual USB, no VRDP). If you are running on a local computer, the OSE    
   is likely sufficient.   
   I tested eCS with almost any VirtualBox version since 3.1.   
   Once eCS is running you should change the emulated networking card ov    
   VirtualBox to intel E1000, since the default 100MBit one is not state of    
   the art. Networking is essential, since shared folders do not work.

   Nothing special so far. Be sure to enable hardware virtualization.    
   Otherwise you won't get lucky with eCS.
