   I'm slowly gearing up to installing eCS 2.0 on my new Linux machine, and I   
   find myself rather confused...   
      
   There are a lot of discussions available, mostly from various newsgroups,   
   but they are very scattered and rarely seems to reach a solid conclusion.   
   Have I missed something, perhaps?   
      
   If not, what is the currently favored virtual machine running under Ubuntu    
   10.10 to install eCS? The hardware has a Pentium dual-core E2180, 4GB of    
   RAM, and a Nvidia GT 210 video card driving a 1920x1080 flat-screen    
   monitor.
