According to this source, Firefox 5 will have an integrated pdf viewer
to go along with the WebM video viewer that is already integrated into
Firefox 4. This is great news for the out-of-the-mainstream platforms
like OS/2 as it will let us ditch flash and acrobat viewers (that are
pretty much unavailable to us anyway in current versions) in favor of
open source work-alikes. Youtube has already come out in favor of WebM
as a video standard format and I've noticed that they are converting
more and more of their huge repository of videos to WebM every day.
